It is not so difficult to make your own favourite ice cream at home. Of course, star chef Lea Linster also knows this. She tells us her seven favourite recipes for homemade ice cream.

INGREDIENTS

100 gram whipped cream
1 TL lemon verbena (dried e.g. from a tea bag or fresh)
350 gram cream quark (40 %)
45 gram of sugar
150 grams frozen blueberries
2 EL blueberry jam
125 Gram blueberries (fresh)
Verbena (possibly)

PREPARATION
Bring the whipped cream and tea leaves to the boil briefly. Allow to infuse for about 2 minutes, pour through a sieve. Let the cream cool well in the fridge.
Mix cream, quark and sugar and pour into the running ice cream machine. Leave to freeze creamy for about 20 minutes.
Let the frozen blueberries thaw a little. Puree together with the jam and stir briefly under the quark ice to create a marble pattern. Serve immediately as creamy ice cream or freeze for another 3-4 hours so that the ice cream is firm but still portionable.
Serve with fresh fruits, possibly sprinkle some verbena leaves over it.
TIP!
If the ice cream is very hard frozen, take it out of the freezer about 30 minutes before serving.
